Where we come from
Courta started as a sports app for badminton players, covering court booking, playing groups and tournaments. Working with real players and organizers showed us that running a tournament is the hardest part. Organizers still take entries through LINE groups and forms, check transfer slips one by one, and build brackets and schedules by hand.
Rebuilding the product
We retired the old system and are rebuilding Courta on a platform designed to grow, starting with a badminton tournament system that covers the whole job for an organizer.

The player transfers straight to the organizer's account and uploads the slip
The system verifies the slip automatically; the organizer can confirm or correct it
Today no money passes through Courta. That let us start fast, but confirmations, refunds and revenue sharing are still manual.
